About
Mimi Kent
Hi, I’m Mimi, a licensed therapist in El Segundo, California offering in-person and online therapy for anxiety, trauma, chronic illness, and relationship challenges. If you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, overwhelmed, or like life handed you a script you never agreed to, you’re in the right place. I work with adults and teens who want to feel more grounded, connected, and at home in their own skin. My style is warm, intuitive, and collaborative. I bring real empathy, direct feedback, and a bit of levity into our sessions. Because healing doesn’t have to be heavy all the time. Laugh, cry, say the thing you’ve never said out loud, and walk away feeling a little more like yourself again.

What you can expect
Clients often tell me they leave sessions feeling lighter, clearer, and more self-compassionate.
Together, we’ll create space to:

-
Quiet the inner critic
-
Reconnect with your body and intuition
-
Set healthier boundaries (without guilt)
-
Untangle old patterns in relationships
-
Find calm in the chaos of chronic pain or anxiety
You don’t need to be “good at therapy.” You just need to show up. I’ll meet you there.
